Pam Kurtz skated in Omaha, NE for the Omaha Skating Club for most of her youth. She competed in singles and ice dance. She traveled every summer in her youth to summer skating camps across the nation. She also competed in regional, sectional, and Canadian competitions. Pam has taught at EPIC since it opened in 1986. She has been very instrumental in organizing and teaching the Synchronized Skating Teams.
EDUCATION: Pam holds a BA in business administration, a master in management practices and the senior professional in human resource (SPHR) credential.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: I wish to pass on my passion for the sport of figure skating to my students. I feel that the sport of figure skating can also teach life skills, i.e. discipline, determination, teamwork, setting and achieving goals, etc.
