The test structure is the backbone of U.S. Figure Skating. Passing skill tests presided over by official judges advances the skater to the next level in the USFS competition structure. Skaters test in Skating Skills, Singles, Pairs, and Ice Dance.

The FCFSC supports the growth and development of skaters at all levels and abilities and provides numerous test sessions each year. Scroll further down this page to view a list of upcoming test sessions

How to register: Home club members must register for tests online via the FCFSC Entryeeze

Test Deadlines: Test registrations are due at 11:59 pm on the dates posted below. Late entries may be accepted with an additional fee.

Test Fee: Skaters who withdraw from a test session after deadline forfeit the test fee. No refunds will be given on multiple tests at the same test session if the skater does not pass the prerequisite test.

Virtual Tests: There is a new Virtual Test Placard. Effective immediately, all tests recorded for submission to a virtual test session are required to include a Virtual Test Placard. The placard must include:

• Skater Name
• Test Taken
• Host Club
• Date of Test

This placard needs to be held in front of the camera prior to the date (month and day) and time, which is also required.

Videos date-stamped after November 21, 2024 without the placard will be rejected by the host club test chair.
