Thank you for all the work you put into Fort Collins Classic last weekend. Now, we're all looking ahead to the ice show... and then summer! Here's your weekly update on any new club events/ notices.

CALLING ALL SKATERS WHO LOVE SHOWCASE!

Are you interested in being a part of Showcase? Do you expect to have passed your preliminary level test or above by June 1st? If so, you are invited to a Showcase Open House THIS SATURDAY, April 12th from 2-4:30pm at EPIC. Come join us to find out more!

**NOTE: This meeting is ONLY for those who plan to be preliminary or above by June 1st; if you have not yet tested this level and do not expect to by June 1st, there will be a separate open house to be announced later. Stay tuned!

CONGRATULATIONS SATURN WARREN!

Annually, USFS holds a Graduating Senior Award program, which recognizes student-athletes who have worked hard to pursue figure skating while

maintaining their academics. While figure skating is not a traditional school sport, it requires the same dedication, perseverance, and time management as any varsity sport. It is the goal of U.S. Figure Skating to help ensure these student-athletes are recognized for those skills. There are four categories of recognition based on competition and test achievements in all disciplines of figure skating. Student-athletes are rewarded based on their highest level of achievement at either the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum level. Recently, USFS notified FCFSC that Saturn Warren has earned a Bronze Graduating Senior Award. Congratulations Saturn!

**Late applications for the 2025 Graduating Senior Award will run until the close of the membership season on June 30th of this year. The 2026 Graduating Seniors Program information will be available on September 1, 2025 via Members Only.

CSU Figure Skating Team is holding a fundraiser to help cover their costs of competing. See the details in this flyer:

CHAIRPERSON AND SUPPORT PEOPLE NEEDED FOR ICE SHOW FUNDRAISING:

We are in need of a Fundraising Chair for Ice Show. This person works with the treasurer and fundraising committee to solicit sponsorships for the ice show; this position starts ASAP. We also could use additional fundraising committee members! Reply to fcfigureskating@gmail.com to help!

Calling Basic 6 & Above Skaters! Come join us! We need six more skaters for the synchro number in this spring's Ice Extravaganza Ice Show. Be part of a special ice show performance, and experience the excitement of Synchronized Skating!
