Program Run Throughs for Front Range Invitational

Prepare for the Front Range Invitational by running your program through to music! FCFSC has arranged a special Run-Through session at NoCo Ice Center!

CLICK HERE to sign up and run your program with music and props on Thursday, May 28th from 2-5pm in the NoCo ice rink.

Registration will be open until Saturday, May 23rd at 11:59pm.

Coach Katie will make the order on Sunday, May 24th so skaters know what program is going first, second, etc.

After you purchase your ticket, you will receive a link to upload your music.

Skaters are limited to two events. If however, we are able to open up an additional spot, we will let you know.

Club Ice This Week

Ice times are on Tuesday and Thursday this week, afternoons only. These are great times to schedule a lesson with your coach if you can. Neither of you would have to pay that extra money for gas to Greeley AND our Club Ice doesn't charge your coach extra coach fees at NoCo! Pass along these tidbits to your club buddies! Please use this link for club ice for the week of May 11th. Ice is available Tuesday and Thursday. We look forward to seeing everyone next week! You can review the schedule of all ice scheduled through July here and the process for purchasing club ice sessions here.

Fundraiser Events

This year, fundraising will be vital to our club because of the extraordinary expenses we're facing by being dislocated from EPIC. We are trying to provide opportunities for our skaters to continue developing by providing Club Ice time, presenting our annual ice show, and more. Please do your part by sharing our fundraisers with friends, families and co-workers. By raising more money from outside the immediate FCFSC community, we aim to keep our membership programming affordable. If you would be interested in helping, join our fundraising committee. Email: marketing@fortcollinsfsc.org to join our next meeting or find out what you can do today.

Find out about all currently scheduled fundraising events on our website under the EVENTS tab. Here are some:

New Club Merchandise!

NOTE: SHOP OPEN ONLY THROUGH MAY. PLAN TO PICK UP ITEMS AT CLUB ICE THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE.

In the past, FCFSC relied on outside vendors to produce and supply any gear the club carried. That meant we received only a portion of the profits if they offered the option. This has changed! We now have our own store the club is maintaining. This means easy ordering, short delivery times, and best yet-- 100% of the profits made will go back into our club's programming, events, and general expenses. What a great opportunity! Click here to preview and order through the Zeffy link.

Note: The link can be found on the club's website under the "Merchandise" page. This page also provides information on how to order your club jacket through "Glitter and Threads," embroidered by club member Stephanie Hopkins!

Log Your Volunteer Hours

FCFSC's membership year is quickly approaching an end. Currently, our volunteer chair is preparing reminders to notify those who haven't fulfilled their hours and logged them in Entryeeze. Avoid needing to buy out your hours; remember to log your hours in Entryeeze for all those you worked this year! You are responsible for recording them after you work.

**Note: only a few limited opportunities will be available to fulfill your remaining hours this year if you haven't volunteered your time yet. You can still serve this year by helping with fundraisers, seeking sponsors, distributing posters, or working at the show.

Members are required to fulfill a set number of volunteer hours for the club (July 1 – June 30) to be in good standing. *Note: if you cannot fulfill the noted number of hours for your membership type you will be invoiced to buy out your unserved volunteer hours ($10 per hour.)

These are the required hours per membership type:

  • 20 hours for Jr. Home Club, Introductory Jr. Home Club, and Single Adult Memberships
  • 30 hours per multi-skater Jr. Home Club, and Introductory Jr. Home Club families
  • 15 Hours for Aspire Memberships
  • 10 Hours for Learn to Skate Membership

To log your volunteer hours in Entryeeze:

It’s Showcase Time!

We still need a few skaters! Do you have a skater, or are you an adult skater interested in competing at National Showcase in Denver this August? Does your skater or yourself plan on passing Preliminary Singles, Preliminary, Skating Skills, Preliminary Dance Moves, Pre Bronze Skills, or a Pre Bronze Patterned Dance test by June 1st? Do you have an Aspire skater interested in joining EPIC Productions jr?

Any skater (tested or not tested) interested in showcase skating should fill out this interest form so we can keep you informed as we start the showcase season. Spots are still available to participate!
