Seeking New FCFSC Board Members
Please consider serving your FCFSC skaters. The Fort Collins Figure Skating Club is seeking a board member to complete a vacant director at large position for the remainder of this membership year. Applicants need to fill out this application by November 18th to be considered by our nominating committee. The nominating committee will review applications and make their recommendation to the Board for our December Board meeting. The board will appoint a member to fill this position during the December Board meeting based on the nominating committee's recommendation. Applicants must be full members of the Fort Collins Figure Skating club and in good standing to apply. Click here to apply.
FCFSC Members are Invited to Participate
Longmont is inviting Fort Collins skaters to perform in an exhibition-style ice show on Friday, Dec. 13, 6-7pm in conjunction with the Longmont Lights city lighting celebration in Roosevelt Park where the Ice Pavilion is located. There is no charge to participate; the performance will be sanctioned. The rink is outdoors but covered. It is on refrigerated ice (new chiller and zam this year!), a little smaller than standard, about 60x140. They are hoping they can fill the whole hour with Fort Collins skaters. If you are interested in this opportunity, please speak with your private coach who should have all of the details on how to participate. Thank you!

Are you a master at organizing space? You're needed!
In an effort to cut our expenses, we are aiming to downsize our storage units. We need a handful of volunteers to assist; this would count toward serving volunteer hours. If interested, please reply to: fcfigureskating@gmail.com and let us know. We'll determine a date after compiling a list of interested helpers. We're also asking for donations of storage shelving, cubbies, and storage bins with lids. This can count toward your hours as well. *If you already sent a reply, we appreciate your patience. We have not scheduled anything yet.
